Beach Essentials
Beach Essentials
Now that I am a momma nothing has changed, I still love the beach! BUT there are a few things that can take it from being frantic to fun! Here is a short list of what I’ve found essential for a seamless trip.
Essentials:
· Tent
Pop up half dome tent is a must. I have to say I never thought I’d need a tent at the beach- you could barely get me under an umbrella. But now that I’m sharing the sun with my bundle of cuteness, life now calls for some shade. The pop up tent is so easy to pop out and wrap back up. There is a small mat the spreads out and it has screen windows. The tent offers a great space for baby to nap and play without enduring too much sun exposure.

*If you have been delaying getting a Costco membership the summer staples they offer just might make it worth it.
Chairs
There is nothing wrong with chillin on a towel, but when you need a little space between you and the sand- i.e. your baby wants to pick up handfuls- a chair gives you all the support and functionality you need. It also makes feeding baby more practical. The Tommy Bahamas foldable chairs with the backpack straps are perfect. Remember you will now be carrying more then ever before so anything hands free is a plus. (P.s. the chair has adjustable reclining levels and a small cooler pouch)

· Small Ice chest
Leftovers make great picnics. I like to bring a mezza. It normally includes at some of the following, grains, antipasti, salad, hummus, olives, crackers, etc.- you get the picture. Frozen fruits are great for an all day treat (melon or watermelon for the win), a chocolate bar finds its way in, and a new addition to round it off is a delicious iced coffee. Stumptown makes a great nitro cold brew in a can. Never forget water, water, and more water!
